Q1 Series — Quiet Operation Linear Guide
The Q1 is built on the same four-row single-arc geometry as the HG series, with a patented SynchMotion™ synchronous retainer. Instead of the balls bunching up at the return, they are held at even spacing, which cuts running noise, smooths the motion and improves lubrication. QH is assembly-interchangeable with HG, so the design rules and accuracy grades carry over unchanged.
Technical highlights
- Patented SynchMotion™ synchronous retainer keeps balls evenly spaced
- Lower running noise and smoother motion, especially at high speed
- The retainer also carries lubricant, extending the service interval
- Low particle generation for clean environments
- QH is assembly-interchangeable with HG: same rail, hole pitch and preload classes
- Same design rules and accuracy grades as the HG series
What SynchMotion™ changes
| Item | Standard ball guide | Q1 with SynchMotion™ |
|---|---|---|
| Ball spacing | Balls bunch and collide at the return | Held at even spacing by the retainer |
| Noise | Rises with speed | Lower and more even across the speed range |
| Motion | Micro-vibration at low speed | Smoother start and stop |
| Particles | Contact wear generates dust | Lower generation, suits clean rooms |
Where it is used
Semiconductor and inspection
Low particle generation and low noise in the same axis.
Medical and laboratory machines
Noise matters when the operator stands next to the machine all day.
High-speed automation
Where standard balls bunch at speed and cause vibration.
Clean rooms
Reduced wear debris from the ball circuit.
